Meeting French Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Talks about Palm Oil Discrimination
Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi just met French Defense Minister Florence Parly at the Pancasila Building,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Parly was in Indonesia for a bilateral meeting with Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto. Parly's meeting with Defense Minister Prabowo and Foreign Minister Retno was held to start the future 2+2 (Minister of Foreign Affairs-Menhan) Meetings. During the meeting, Parly and Retno exchanged views on cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. Retno also conveyed the principles of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific, including the issue of inclusiveness and the importance of cooperation in 4 priority areas, namely maritime cooperation, connectivity, achievement of SDGs and investment trade. Retno will reiterate these principles when she attends the Ministerial Meeting on the Indo-Pacific which will be held in Paris on the 3rd week of February 2022.
