The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia was warmly welcomed by the South Korean Entrepreneurs Forum in Gangnam

The signing of the Indonesia-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement/IK CEPA at the end of 2020 and the construction of an electric car by the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (HHMI) factory is a tangible manifestation of Indonesia and South Korea's commitment to advancing the economy and the welfare of its people.
This was conveyed by Gandi Sulistiyanto, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to South Korea in his remarks at a business forum organized by the Korea-Indonesia Management Association (KIMA). "HMMI, which is intended to become a center for electric car production, plans to produce electric cars in Southeast Asia of 250,000 units per year. Therefore, I invite the South Korean private sector to advance together with Indonesian businesses in increasing trade volume in various sectors," he added, in a statement on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Kim Ki-Chan, Chairman of KIMA, conveyed the pride of all KIMA members in welcoming Ambassador Gandi Sulistiyanto who had just arrived in Seoul in early January 2022. It was emphasized that all KIMA members are committed to actively building relationships with Indonesian businessmen and supporting Indonesian leadership in the G20 forum.
