Riau Islands Provincial Government together with Sinar Mas Land Hold Booster Vaccinations for Tourism Workers

Sinar Mas Land through the Nuvasa Bay project in collaboration with the Riau Islands Provincial Government through the Head of the Riau Islands Province Culture and Tourism Office and the Batam City Government, as well as the Head of the Batam City Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar),

opened a booster vaccine center for tourism workers. The Nongsa Sensation area was chosen by the Riau Islands Provincial Government to be the first booster vaccine center in Batam. The booster vaccine program was held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Nuvasa Bay, Nongsa, Batam as a measure to anticipate the surge in Covid-19 cases, especially the new Omicron variant, as well as in preparation for Vaccinated Travel Lane between the Riau Islands Province through two destination points, namely Nongsa - Batam and Lagoi – Bintan with Singapore and Malaysia. This booster vaccine center is intended for tourism workers in the two tourist destinations with a total of 500 vaccination participants. The booster vaccine recipients previously had to get a second dose of vaccine with a duration of more than six months. The vaccine recipients received a third injection of 0.15ml with the Pfizer brand
