Regarding Gibran and Kaesang, Moeldoko: There is an impression that an official's son cannot be rich

Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko also spoke about the reports of two sons of President Joko Widodo, Gibran and Kaesang Pangarep to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
He assessed that the report gave the impression that an official's son could not be rich. "Don't be so easy to judge that an official's son must be negative, an official's son cannot be rich, an official's son cannot try," said Moeldoko in his office, Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Moeldoko said everyone has the same rights. As long as the official's son has a good business, then his wealth is legitimate. He said everyone has the right to develop themselves. "Like my son, I want to try when I forbid it. Yes, no. So give it a chance," said Moeldoko. Even so, Moeldoko guarantees that the process at the KPK will continue to run normally even though the reported child is President Jokowi's son. Gibran Rakabuming and Kaesang Pangarep were reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) by activist 98, Ubedilah Badrun. The report was based on the alleged relationship between two of President Jokowi's children and a forest burning company
