Regional Representative Council Supports Telemedicine Program Expansion Outside Jabodetabek
The Chairperson of the Regional Representative Council of the DPD, LaNyalla Mattalitti supports telemedicine services to be expanded to various regions, from the ones currently in effect in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek).
According to LaNyalla, this service is very helpful for residents who are infected with Covid-19. Moreover, when there is a shortage of health facilities and medicines. Telemedicine is a consultation service and free drug delivery for Covid-19 patients who are self-isolating (isoman). “Telemedicine services are very useful and help people who are infected with Covid-19. The service was started in DKI Jakarta as a pilot project. After the Ministry of Health tested the system to the distribution of drugs, telemedicine was expanded to the Bodetabek area. In running telemedicine services, the Ministry of Health cooperates with 11 telemedicine platforms in Indonesia, namely Halodoc, YesDok, Alodokter, Klik Dokter, SehatQ, Good Doctor, KlinikGo, Link Sehat, Milvik, Prosehat, and Getwell. Patients can consult with doctors through these platforms.
