Land Mafia Eradication, Government Involves PPAT
The Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) cooperates with the Land Deed Maker Official or PPAT in an effort to eradicate the land mafia.
Director General of Land Dispute and Conflict Handling Ministry of ATR/BPN Agus Widjayanto asked PPAT as his institutional partner to participate in efforts to prevent land mafia practices. "We cannot do it alone, we need all lines to jointly carry out prevention and supervision," he said, quoted on the official website of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Wednesday (12/29/2021). "I hope that my friends can do joint prevention of the factors that cause problems in buying and selling, transfer of rights, and registration of transfer of rights," said Agus. Special Staff to the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN for Land and Spatial Conflict Dispute Handling, Hary Sudwijanto said that there were many loopholes in various parties that were exploited by the land mafia. If you look at several factors that cause land disputes and conflicts, Hary Sudwijanto said, one of the reasons is legal products issued through unlawful acts. "Therefore, PPAT's role is needed in preventing this. What is the supervisory mechanism to eliminate the occurrence of things that lead to land disputes and conflicts," he said. As one of the government's efforts to reduce conflicts and land disputes, the government has also amended and perfected the existing regulations in Law No. 11/2021 on Job Creation (UUCK).
